Will the use of the spiral steel pipe be affected after repair?
In practice, such a situation often occurs. Although the worn spiral steel pipe has been repaired and restored to its original size, shape and matching properties, the equipment still cannot reach the original technical performance after assembly. Usually, this is caused by the deformation of the parts, especially the deformation of the basic parts, which destroys the mutual position accuracy between the spiral steel pipes, which affects the mutual relationship between the spiral steel pipes. The deformation of mechanical parts or components can be divided into elastic deformation and plastic deformation.
Plastic deformation has a great influence on the performance and life of metal parts, mainly in the increase of the strength and hardness of the metal, the decrease of plasticity and toughness, and the generation of residual stress inside the parts. To reduce the harm of plastic deformation, countermeasures should be taken from the following two aspects. When designing, while fully considering how to realize the function of the mechanism and ensure the strength of the parts, it is necessary to pay attention to the rigidity and deformation of the parts and the problems that may occur in the manufacture, assembly and use of the parts.
In the design, the wall thickness of the part should be made as uniform as possible to reduce the deformation during thermal processing; the sharp corners should be avoided as much as possible, and the rounded corners and chamfered corners should be changed to reduce the stress concentration. In addition, attention should be paid to the application of new materials and new processes, and the traditional processing technology should be changed to reduce the possibility of deformation.
