Technical requirements for large diameter spiral steel pipe manu

Spiral steel pipe is a spiral seam steel pipe made of strip steel coil as raw material, often warmly extruded, and welded by automatic double-wire double-sided submerged arc welding process. The spiral steel pipe feeds the strip into the welded pipe unit. After being rolled by multiple rollers, the strip is gradually rolled up to form a circular tube blank with an opening gap. 3mm, and make both ends of the welding joint flush.
First of all, under the strong domestic demand, it has been used in a large number of projects. This is due to the superb skills and remarkable effects. The large-diameter spiral steel pipe can prevent and slow down corrosion, save costs and increase the utilization rate. There are still many technical requirements for large-diameter spiral steel pipes. Here we would like to share with you the technical requirements of large-diameter spiral steel pipes:
1. Pipe rust removal: Before applying the primer, the surface of the pipe should be cleaned of grease, ash, rust and iron oxide scale. The quality standard of sandblasting is to sa2.5.
2. Apply primer after rust removal on the surface of the pipe, and the time interval between them should not exceed 8 hours. When applying primer, the base surface should be dry. The primer should be brushed evenly and fully, without any lumps or blistering, and should not be brushed within the range of 150-250mm at both ends of the tube.
3. After the primer surface is dry, apply the topcoat and wrap the glass cloth. The time interval between the primer and the topcoat should not exceed 24 hours.
4. The epoxy coal tar tar coating adopts two-component, room temperature curing coating; the glass fiber cloth adopts drying, dewaxing, no twisting, edge sealing, medium alkali, and the warp and weft density is 10*12 pieces/cm~12*12 pieces/ cm of fiberglass cloth.
5. The construction of the pipe joint should be carried out after the welding pressure test is qualified. The old and new anti-corrosion edge pressing should not be less than 50mm, the lap length of the joint should not be less than 100mm, and the joint should be firmly and tightly bonded.
6. Coating mechanism for the outer wall of the steel pipe: one bottom and two sides, one cloth and two sides, and the total thickness of the dry film is 400μm.
7. Coating mechanism for the inner wall of the steel pipe: one bottom and three sides, the total thickness of the dry film is 300μm.
8. After the external anti-corrosion construction is completed, the quality inspection shall be carried out according to the design requirements or the requirements of the water supply and drainage pipeline engineering construction and acceptance specifications.
