Spiral steel pipe rust removal and corrosion protection process

Steel pipe descaling anticorrosion process: Descaling is an important element in the pipeline anticorrosion process, and there are many methods of descaling, such as manual descaling, sandblasting and pickling descaling. First: manual rust removal
Use scraper, file to remove the oxide skin and cast sand on the surface of pipes, equipment and containers, then use steel wire brush to remove the floating rust on the surface of pipes, equipment and containers, then use sandpaper to polish them, *and then use cotton wool to wipe them clean.
Second, mechanical rust removal
First, use scraper and file to remove the oxidized skin and cast sand on the surface of the pipe; then one person in front of the descaling machine and one person after the descaling machine, put the pipe inside the descaling machine to remove rust repeatedly until it reveals the original color of the metal; before brushing oil, use cotton wool to wipe it again to remove the floating ash on its surface.

Third, anti-corrosion oil brushing
Pipeline, equipment and container valves, generally according to the design requirements for anti-corrosion brush oil, when the design does not require the following provisions should be carried out.
1, brightly installed pipelines, equipment and containers must first brush an antirust paint, to be handed over before brushing two topcoats, such as insulation and anti-condensation requirements should be brushed two antirust paint.
2, concealed pipelines, equipment and containers brush two anti-rust paint, the second anti-rust paint must be ** paint dry before brushing, and anti-rust paint consistency should be appropriate.
3, buried pipelines to do anti-corrosion layer, if the construction in winter, it is appropriate to use rubber solvent oil or aviation gasoline dissolved 30 A or 30 B petroleum asphalt, weight ratio: asphalt: gasoline = 1:2, anti-corrosion paint coating methods are generally two.
① manual painting: manual painting should be applied in layers, each layer should be reciprocal, staggered, and keep the coating uniform, no leakage or flow down.
② mechanical spraying: spraying spraying paint flow should be vertical and spraying surface, spraying surface for the plane, the nozzle and spraying surface should be 250 ~ 350mm apart, spraying surface such as a circular surface, the distance between the nozzle and the spraying surface should be about 400mm, spraying, the movement of the nozzle should be uniform, the speed should be maintained at 10 ~ 18m / min, spray paint using compressed air pressure of 0.2 ~ 0.4MPa.
