News
1. For the use of shock deformation, such as ships, oil, natural gas pipeline, in order to prevent brittle fracture, requiring galvanized steel coil to have a certain high impact toughness.
2. For steel structures used in building structures, bridges and mechanical structural parts, in order to prevent breaking of the parts, it is required that the galvanized steel coil has special tensile strength, and in order to prevent the deformation of parts, it is required that the galvanized steel coil has a certain yield strength. So this kind of galvanized steel coil are required the provisions of tensile strength, minimum yield strength or range value.
3. The cold formability of galvanized steel coil is directly related to the yield strength and elongation of the material. The lower the yield strength value, the smaller stress required to produce permanent deformation. The higher the elongation value, the higher the ductility can tolerate a large amount of deformation without breaking.
4. The yield strength of thin galvanized steel coil shows the formability and strength after forming. The forming point of the ordinary carbon steel coil is too high, and it is often possible to have an excessive rebound. When it is formed, it is easy to break. Abrasion is quick and defective due to poor plasticity. However, when the yield point of the material is less than 140 MPa, it may not be able to withstand the stress applied during the forming process. For steel coil which are used dfor complicated forming or stamping, it is usually required a lower yield strength value and the yield ratio is smaller, the better forming performance of the steel coil.
